On this Bank Holiday Monday we decided to go out to The Chinese Buffet and I decided to wear this green Lindy Bop dress which is one of my favourites. I actually thought it was going to be a cooler, more Autumnal day when I chose this and instead it just got hotter and sunnier as the day went on so I kind of wished I’d taken the chance of wearing something a bit more floaty and summery but never mind!
I have to admit, I personally don’t actually like Chinese food that much. I’m generally a fussy eater – I don’t like noodles, pasta, pizza, most spicy foods or exotic flavours and so on. I can handle a bit of sweet & sour chicken though and there were a few other things to keep me satisfied. To be honest what I was most interested in was dessert (as usual) and there were certainly plenty of beautiful options…
Then we headed back to the park at home as I wanted to get a couple of photos which show the true colour of this dress. It’s still available here for a bargain £12 if you happen to be a size 8 (oops, looking here you will also notice that I’ve lost a button from mine).
If you really like the look of it they have a very similar one here though this is still full price at £32. I’m going to stop looking now as it’s a bit of a challenge for me to resist a green Lindy Bop dress to be honest!
The shoes are Hush Puppies which means even though they have a decent heel I can wear them all day without any trouble, which is definitely a winner.
Everyone had fun….
